Layout Using an IFC Model

Find the real position of 3D objects from an IFC model.

• Layout edges or main points of 3D objects.

1. Import an IFC model.
2. Setup the instrument within the IFC model. Refer to Instrument Setup .
3. Select an object from the model.
   
4. Select an edge or one of the main points of the object.
   
5. Define Layout Options .
6. Tap Layout.
7. Follow the guidance on the top of the screen to reach the point position.
8. Tap Store to save the layout quality information.

☞ Apply BIM filters for easier selection.

☞ Add BIM objects to the To-Do List to extract all main Points .

☞ A BIM Objects licence is required.

☞ A Layout licence is required.
