How to Measure 3D

• Create 3D models with measurements.
• When the job is empty, the first two measured points define the drawing alignment.
• All measurements are stored with original, unprojected coordinates

1. Start 3D or select the Unprojected projection type. Refer to Planes.
2. Select a target type in the Targets Menu menu.
3. Select the active layer in Layers.
4. Select the object type. Refer to Measuring Settings
5. Measuring without any target:
   Aim using laser or the Live View view.
   Measuring with a target, for example vPen or vPole:
   Go to the point.
6. Tap Measure.

Example:

☞ If the job contains data, a 3D setup is required to measure in 3D.

☞ Measure first two points at the exact same position to setup the instrument at coordinates 0,0,0.

☞ An instrument connection is required.
