How to Layout other Elements with a Target
Find the real position of lines, polylines, circles and other objects from the drawing using a target and a pole, for example vPole.
- Follow the guidance on the screen to reach the position of the destination point.
- Layout vertices of the object or any point along the object.
- Select a target, for example vSphere, from the Targets Menu.
- Lock on the target.
- Select a line, polyline, arc, circle or any other object.
- Select a starting vertex or segment to layout.
- This is not required for circles and arcs.
- Define Layout Options.
- Tap Layout.
- Follow the guidance on the top of the screen to reach the point position. Refer to Layout Facing the Instrument and Layout Facing the Point .
- Taps Store to save the layout quality information.
☞ Target lock is required. Make sure that the instrument follows the target.
☞ It is possible to change the destination point during the navigation.
☞ Tap Invert to change the order of vertices during the layout.
☞ Tap Offset to define distance along or away from the object. Refer to Layout with an Offset .
