• Computing with software
• Data communication with external appliances
• Measuring distances
• Measuring horizontal and vertical angles
• Recording measurements
• Remote control of product
• Visualising the aiming direction

Foreseeable misuse 

• Aiming directly into the sun
• Deliberate laser exposure to third parties
• Disabling of safety systems
• Inadequate safeguards at the working site
• Modification or conversion of the product
• Opening the product using tools, for example a screwdriver, unless this is
permitted for certain functions
• Removal of hazard notices
• Use after misappropriation
• Use of products with recognisable damage or defects
• Use of the product without instructions
• Use outside of the intended use and limits
• Use with accessories from other manufacturers without the prior explicit
approval of Leica Geosystems
